Heather: We Felt Totally Violated

Heather explains why she thinks Luann's idea of "girl code" is laughable.

Code...Red

How to Watch

Watch The Real Housewives of New York City on Bravo Tuesdays at 9/8c and stream next day on Peacock. Catch up on the Bravo app.

Let’s talk about "girl code" for a minute. To me, a big part of "girl code" is never putting your friends in harm’s way. So the Countess feels violated because Carole and I came into her room after knocking? How about waking up to a random naked man? We felt totally violated and for very good reason.

Neither Luann nor Ramona wanted this man in their room, so apparently it was cool to leave him with me and Carole? Had one of them been with this guy, it would have been a much different situation. But instead, we woke up to a complete stranger that no one knew, sleeping across from us, while we slept, in a vulnerable state--with no security, barely dressed, and all of our valuables out for the taking? It is the epitome of uncool.

Do Not Leave Your Men Unattended

I’m not judging the way any of the women want to live their lives,on vacation or otherwise. I just don’t appreciate the remnants left unattended in my room. I would never willingly put any of my friends in an unsafe situation, and that’s exactly what Ramona did here, and she knew it. I appreciate that Ramona did eventually own up to her behavior and apologize, and luckily nothing happened. But first she tossed the responsibility to The Countess who totally fouled--making herself the spectacle (the only thing cool about this was my Yummie bra she was rockin!). She also unearthed, herself, much of what I think she now wished had remained private. Just like in St. Bart's with the pirate, it's not her...it’s everyone else who was wrong. And for Luann to think we were trying to set her up is a joke.

That's Not So Cool, Either

Bottom line, Carole and I were violated, not Luann, but she's so distraught about two of her friends waking her at 9:30 AM she wrote a song about it?! LOL! Yes! And the irony of the title, "Girl Code," is just too much, being she knew that her play date for the night was married. But I'm sure working out the words and the melody we're very therapeutic for her, and I'm hopeful she's been able to move on from her trauma.

Carole says she going to write a song too and call it, "Ya Dumb Hypocrite"!

Work It

It's always great to get back into WillSpace after some time off. Will and the ninj, who trained us, always make sure we’re keeping things #TightAndRight. Really nice to have Carole and Kristen with me to catch up on all the craziness of Turks and Chaos, too. And Carole was looking like a natural athlete in my yummie active capri (wheeee).

Will has been getting me ready for my climb to 14,000 ft with No Barriers later this month. It's been an incredible journey! And I'm so excited to climb with Erik Weihenmayer, my fellow ambassadors and participants for such an important cause. We are working to take the 'dis' out of disability, and I'm so humbled to be a part of this unparalleled experience.

You, too, can join me in Colorado by joining my #YummieTeam! #Pledgeup and be automatically entered for a chance to win a trip to meet me as I climb my first 14ner. Can't wait to see you at the summit!

Denim, Diamonds and Drama

I’m so happy I was able to donate proceeds from my Yummie denim sales at Kristen's event to benefit Smile Train. It’s been really great to see all the amazing work Kristen and Smile Train have been doing together. And I loved taking the group to Bloomingdale’s to check out my Yummie by Heather Thomson collection there. It was especially exciting as Bloomingdale’s just launched Yummie denim in select stores and on Bloomingdales.com.

A big thanks to my friend Manny Sharp of Sharp Jewelers for donating diamonds for the auction and for hosting our denim decorating party at his beautiful apartment. We all got together for a good cause, and a few of us were able to hash out some lingering issues too. Now, if only Dorinda could stop meddling!

Aside from all the drama, you can also join in on the yummie stuff and bid on the denim we decorated that night on eBay! And also, for a limited time, for every pair of Yummie jeans sold on yummielife.com, we’ll be donating $10 to Smile Train, and you’ll get $10 off your purchase!

So, find your favorite pair and you'll be helping to create new and lasting smiles!!
And that deserves a Holla!

Till next week…
