Dorinda Medley Is Selling Her NYC Apartment for $2.5M: "Life Is About Change"
The Real Housewives of New York City alum is saying goodbye to her longtime home — and she already has big plans for her next move.
Dorinda Medley is ready to move on from her longtime home in New York City.
"After 21 years in my beautiful two-bedroom apartment, I am officially an empty nester and I've decided to put it on the market," The Real Housewives of New York City alum told the Daily Mail. "Having spent the pandemic renovating it, it is now ready for a new family to enjoy."
During Season 12 of RHONY, Dorinda opened up about her decision to renovate nearly every inch of the apartment. "This little renovation in my old apartment that turned into this huge renovation, it's sort of like representative of my life," she shared on a September 2020 episode. "I sort of washed away all of what's been bothering me." At the time, she explained that she wanted the home to be "a classic, clean, efficient New York apartment."
In a February 8 Instagram post, Dorinda shared the Daily Mail article and declared in the caption: "Life is about change."
Although she's selling her apartment, which is now on the market for $2.5 million, Dorinda has no plans to leave the Big Apple. As she explained in the recent interview: "I'll continue to split my time between New York City and Blue Stone Manor."
In fact, she's already searching for her next NYC home. "With [my daughter] Hannah all grown up, I'm looking to purchase an apartment that better suits my needs," she explained to the Daily Mail. In the comments of her Instagram post, Dorinda gave more details about her potential new digs. "Found a beautiful [apartment] already," she wrote to someone wishing her luck on her apartment search. "Total redo which I love."
