Dorinda Medley Shares Her Best Tips for Staying Active During Self-Isolation

The RHONY mom says it's been "quite difficult" to manage her mental and physical health.

Dorinda Medley has some incredibly helpful tips for staying healthy while in self-isolation. The Real Housewives of New York City cast member is currently staying at home to prevent the spread of coronavirus (COVID-19), and gave a bit of advice for making the best out of the current uncertain situation.

“It has been quite difficult managing both my physical and mental health, but it is important everyday to get up, and get dressed, get showered, because God knows we could end up just on the couch for hours and hours,” said Dorinda in the video above. 

Although Dorinda admits that it hasn’t been easy, she’s been making an effort to stay positive and active. 

“I’ve been trying to go outside everyday, get some fresh air, take a walk,” she said, before clarifying: “Not with people. Isolated.” 

Of course, Dorinda’s absolute favorite physical activity is Dorobics, but she’s also been mixing things up by riding her bicycle and taking walks. Above anything, she recommends getting outside whenever you can. 

“Up here in the Berkshires, you can see that spring is coming, regardless of everything that’s going on in the world,” she said. “The birds, the trees, the flowers... it’s all coming to life, and it just gives me hope.”
