Kelly Bensimon Shows Inside Her Daughter's Chic, Colorful Dorm Room
The Real Housewives of New York City alum documented "college move in" day — and we're digging the decor.
Kelly Killoren Bensimon's youngest daughter, Teddy, has something in common with her her mama — and her aunt, for that matter. Sharing snaps from "college move in" day in Connecticut, The Real Housewives of New York City alum wrote: "Teddy Bensimon is back [at Trinity College.] I’m so proud of my youngest angel is back on campus ... My sister went to Trinity, I went to Trinity, and now Teddy is at Trinity." But beyond a shared alma mater, it looks like both mother and daughter have a fondness for bright, eclectic home decor.
Kelly's photos included one of Teddy seated on the bed in her new dorm room, which was flooded with sunlight. The twin bed was covered in vibrant, blue-and-white linens from Roller Rabbit; the teenager also had a pile of decorative pillows in mismatched prints. There was more fluffiness on the floor, which was covered in soft, layered rugs.
The bedding's royal-blue color theme continued in a modern desk chair across from Teddy's bed, and her windowsill was the place for ethereal tropes: a salt rock lamp and a white unicorn statue decorated the ledge.
"Go Teddy, go. We love you," Kelly continued in her caption. "We love your love of American History, and your love of Albert Einstein. I’m proud of you."
Teddy's loving sendoff also included a gift from another RHONY alum: As she got settled in, the college student was wearing a tie-dyed mask from Jill Zarin and Ally Shapiro's new line.
