Leah McSweeney Addresses Her Sheer Reunion Mask: "It's Not for Protection"
The Real Housewives of New York City newcomer clapped back at the criticism of the sheer face mask she wore to the Season 12 reunion.
Leah McSweeney promised she'd be "half nude" at The Real Housewives of New York City Season 12 reunion, and she most definitely stayed true to her word. The Married to the Mob founder made an unforgettable appearance at her first-ever reunion in a super sexy number by SAGA NYC. Leah's ensemble featured a black sheer bottom skirt with a thigh-high slit and a matching sheer bralette top. It was a whole lewk. However, some people had thoughts on Leah's accessories.
After receiving some critiques on her choice of face mask, the always straightforward Leah decided to address the naysayers.
"There are so many people commenting about my sheer mask not being [COVID-19] safe — makes me question everybody's intelligence and just common sense," she shared in a recent Instagram stories clip. "Like no s--t, obviously, it's not for protection, it's a part of my look. Obvi."
For those wondering about Leah's safety precautions, she clarified, "You know what was for protection? Getting tested for [COVID-19] the day before, getting tested for [COVID-19] two days before that, staying six feet apart from everybody." Leah also added that the RHONY cast and crew wore masks and washed their hands "constantly."
"The protocol that went into the reunion was insane and unlike anything I've ever seen, so anyone leaving a comment being like 'that sheer mask doesn't help,' f--k off."
