Luann de Lesseps Got Her First Tattoo: See the New Ink on Her Wrist
The Real Housewives of New York City cast member got a meaningful piece of permanent ink on her arm.
On the July 13 episode of The Real Housewives of New York City, an after-dinner activity in Salem divided the ladies into two camps. On one side of the tattoo debate, there were Eboni K. Williams and Leah McSweeney, who both got delicate ink spelling out their grandmother's name. However, Ramona Singer and Sonja Morgan were adamantly opposed to getting body art of their own. And while Luann de Lesseps appeared neutral during the episode — and even admired Leah's new tattoo — a previously unseen moment reveals the cabaret singer's real stance on going under the tattoo gun.
In the clip above, which is exclusive to Bravo Insider, Luann returned to the tattoo parlor where the dinner party had taken place. "I'm in!" she announces to the twins who work there. "It's my very first tattoo!" In her interview, she says: "It's my first tattoo, this is Salem, it's Lotus Day. So, why not go bold?"
Later, when the rest of the gang joins Luann and Leah at the tattoo parlor for a photo shoot, Luann announces: "I had a little change of heart. I got a tramp stamp." She proceeds to spin around and show the ladies a huge purple lotus splashed across her lower back ... but that one, alas, was temporary.
For her real first tattoo, the yoga-lover got an elegant louts on her inner wrist. Take a look at the beautiful body art — and the not so beautiful decoy — in the clip above.
