When Ramona Singer considered starting a career in real estate, she quickly thought to reach out to Million Dollar Listing New York alum Michael Lorber. "It's really good to have a sponsor when you go into real estate," she explained on The Real Housewives of New York City's June 15 episode. "Michael is an excellent broker and, heck, his father is chairman [of Douglas Elliman.] I mean, come on, it can't get better than that. I'm connected here!"

During Ramona's meeting with Michael, he warned her that real estate is a "very competitive business," but she appeared to be up for the challenge, explaining, "I'm a competitive person."

"I am a very driven woman," she shared with Michael. "That's one of the reasons why I want to be affiliated with Douglas Elliman."

In an interview during the episode, Ramona explained that going into real estate felt like a sensible next step in her career.  "I've always been very business oriented and entrepreneurial," she said. "I know I'm a natural in real estate and if I can make money doing that, cause you know, money is my aphrodisiac."

Of course, Ramona has big plans for her real estate career. After getting her license in New York, she is already considering doing the same in Aspen or Florida as well, she told Michael.

Although she was still in the early stages of starting her real estate business during their meeting, Michael was already feeling confident in Ramona's abilities. "You fixed up your own homes, right? And sold some of them. That's some of the best experience you can get," he said, to which she replied, "A lot of people don't have the vision. See, I have vision."
