Kelly Dodd Shares a Look at Rick Leventhal’s Huge NYC Patio
The Real Housewives of Orange County mom is self-quarantining at her fiance’s Manhattan apartment.
Kelly Dodd and her fiancé, Rick Leventhal, were soaking up some New York City sun and fresh air this week — albeit from a completely safe space. The Real Housewives of Orange County couple is currently hunkering down at Rick’s swanky Manhattan apartment, which is fancy for many reasons, chief of which is the fact that it has an enormous patio.
Despite her reasoning that Rick didn’t need to be doing any spring cleaning since he plans to sell the apartment, the Fox News correspondent was hard at work replanting his gigantic stone urns with trees. Putting his muscles on display, Rick certainly impressed Kelly. “Oh, wow, bam! That’s how you do it? Huh. It’s good, baby. I just hire people to do that, but now I have you,” she said.
Lined by a white iron railing, the patio overlooks skyscrapers, hospitals, and even the Empire State Building. Rick has decorated the space — which is also, by the way, where he proposed to Kelly! — with an outdoor couch, fire pit, and romantic bistro lights.
While out on the patio, the couple also took time to address a statement Kelly had made earlier on Instagram Stories that was being misconstrued. “When I said ‘banging at 7 p.m.’ it’s because the service workers here at the hospital, the nurses, the doctors, everybody on the front lines — we all come out here and we bang at seven o’clock. Not bang like have sex. We bang on pots and pans.”
