Bethenny Frankel Continues her Vegan Foodie World Tour — This Time in Beverly Hills With Lisa Rinna
The RHONY foodie has found her hotspot for mushroom tacos, and a little 'Wife-to-'Wife chitchat!
Though she draws the line at ordering avocado toast from a food truck, Bethenny Frankel has been on a vegan kick lately. She's chowed on vegan nachos in New Zealand, eaten mock spicy beef in Las Vegas, and even showed off vegan French eats in a recent Instagram story. And now, the Skinnygirl mogul has found a way to stick to her current regime on Taco Tuesday... or on any day she feels like a girls' lunch in Los Angeles.
On May 7, Bethenny shared Instagram footage from her lunch at The Rooftop by JG. Headed up by chef Jean-Georges Vongerichten, the restaurant at the Waldorf Astoria Beverly Hills was a perfect choice for the frequent traveler. It serves light small plates filled with Asian, Latin American, and farmer's market-inspired flavors — and it has plenty of meat-free options.
As shown on her Instagram Stories, Bethenny settled on the watercress and baby kale salad with avocado, spring peas, and green chili-mint dressing. The New York also ordered up a round of sauteed mushroom tacos with kale and mole sauce, from the restaurant's "to share" menu.
And indeed, it looks like she did share the snacks. Joining Bethenny for lunch was The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills pal Lisa Rinna:
After all, what's a trip to L.A. without some light bites and a RHOBH star sighting?
And that wasn't all for Bethenny. For dinner, she hit up Luques, helmed by chef Suzanne Goin. And as Bethenny was excited to share on her Instagram Stories, Goin is a James Beard award winner. Caroline Styne of the Lucques Group also won an award for Outstanding Restaurateur at the James Beard Foundation's May 7 ceremony in Chicago.
Talk about a good day in L.A.!
