"Squeaky Wheel" Bethenny Frankel Shares Promising News for Others With Deadly Food Allergies
Airplane food triggered Bethenny Frankel's fish allergy — and she doesn't want anyone else to have to face that danger.
Bethenny Frankel faces daily danger because of the severity of her food allergy. When — shortly after a food allergy attack almost killed her — she faced more danger on an airplane serving an on-board seafood meal, she became a crusader against airline food practices that expose allergy sufferers, using her platform to attract attract awareness to the problem.
And now, it looks like there's been some real progress on that front. The Real Housewives of New York City mogul took to her Instagram Stories to share a New York Post story with the headline: "[New York Senator Chuck] Schumer calls on FAA to require EpiPens' in flights medical kits."
She added her own note, "YES," noting "the squeaky wheel gets the oil," and "the conversation has started."
She also captioned her post, "While they're at it, take the few major deadly allergens off of commercial airlines," using emojis for the likes of fish and peanuts.
