Peter Luger Got a Bad Review, so Bethenny Frankel Recommended Another Steakhouse
The Real Housewives of New York City alum has a fix for New Yorkers craving ribeye.
Bethenny Frankel is a fan of some of New York City's most iconic eateries: She's taken her daughter to Coney Island to try Nathan's hot dogs and French fries, and she's been going to L&B Spumoni Gardens for Sicilian pizza for 40 years.
However, it would seem that The Real Housewives of New York City alum isn't as keen on Peter Luger Steak House — and a certain restaurant critic reviews.
After The New York Times made waves by giving the Brooklyn standby a zero-star review, Bethenny shared her reaction on Twitter. "I have always thought I'm nuts that I don't love the steak [at Peter Luger]," she wrote. "If you want the most random location for a good steak, get the ribeye at [Bodega Negra.]"
Consider our cravings stoked! We took a look at the menu for the upscale Mexican spot Bethenny recommended, and found out that the ribeye she recommends is dry-aged for 28 days and comes served with roasted vine tomatoes. Sounds like a five-star dish to us.
