Bethenny Frankel Reports Cognitive and Vision Problems After Near-Fatal Reaction to Food Allergy
The Real Housewives of New York City's Bethenny Frankel suffered a severe reaction to her "rare" fish allergy last month.
In the span of less than a month, Bethenny Frankel has survived a series of traumatic events related to her "rare" and potentially deadly food allergy. After falling unconscious and being hospitalized in the ICU last month after accidentally ingesting fish, Bethenny boarded a plane where the flight crew was serving fish that could have killed her in a closed cabin environment.
Now, The Real Housewives of New York City mogul is reporting that she is having health problems following her December food allergy attack, and suspects the occurrences could be related.
"Well tweeps, you’re usually smarter than anyone & I keep researching & cannot find out," she wrote on Twitter, the platform she has used to share the details of her scares and their aftermath. "Can anaphylactic shock affect memory or vision afterwards? I had 20 20 & it does not appear to be the case now. I am getting it all checked out this week but you have all the answers."
While Bethenny pledged to get medical attention to check out any possible correlation, she engaged with one fan whose sentiment resonated most with her: The idea that every person's intuition about their own body is powerful when it comes to interpreting signs.
