Tinsley Mortimer's Purple Reunion Dress Was Designed by a Fellow Bravo Star
The Real Housewives of New York City fashionista tapped a Bravo's Project Runway designer for this show-stopping reunion look.
Tinsley Mortimer knows a reunion dress can be so much more than just a single-use gown. Just last month, we saw The Real Housewives of New York City fashionista recycle her Season 10 black tulle polka dot number for a friend's wedding. So, it only seems natural that Tinsley would put extra thought into her Season 11 reunion look — and we may be seeing her wear it again and again.
To make a show-stopping entrance at the Season 11 sit-down (watch the video above to see), the southern belle tapped an A-list designer from the Bravo family. Christian Siriano, who serves as the contestants' mentor on Season 17 of Bravo's Project Runway, is the creative force behind Tinsley's dark purple reunion gown.
"It was made to measure for me," Tinsley explained to The Lookbook. "[Christian] redesigned the train and the top ruffles/pleats to make it work as a sitting dress for the reunion."
With its high-low silhouette and long, flowing train, we can totally see Tinsley rewearing this dress to an upcoming gala. Tinsley accessorized the dress, which featured a pleated strapless top, with a bunch of bangles, a pair of gigantic multicolor chandelier earrings by Irene Lummertz, and multicolor beaded Louboutin heels.
Watch the video above to see Tinsley's full reunion look — and tune into RHONY Wednesdays at 9/8c.
