From Tamra's 80's bunco party to Gretchen's Tupperware party, the ladies of the OC always love a good theme.
It's a fact that all of the Housewives love a good party given that they are the perfect excuse to dress up, drink cocktails, and confront each other about the words being said behind each other's backs. However, after 11 seasons, it's been proven that no one does theme parties like the ladies of the OC. With themes ranging from an 80's bunco party to a Tupperware party starring a drag queen, nothing is off-limits and the OC 'Wives are always willing to look ridiculous in the name of a good dress up party. In advance of Monday night's explosive 70's party hosted by Shannon Beador, we plunged into the archive of OC parties past to find the best themes of all time.
1. Tamra's Country Themed Grandbaby Shower
The only thing better than a baby shower is a GRANDbaby shower. Leave it to Tamra to celebrate the birth of her first grandchild Ava with hay bales and tequila shots.
2. Heather's Hoedown
When Heather threw a hoedown to celebrate the groundbreaking of her new home there were plenty of cowboy hats, onion rings, and drama to go around. The ladies each took a turn on the mechanical bull, but it was Tamra who mounted it like a pro.
3. Tamra and Eddie's Sex Party
50 shades of orange! Although Tamra is not exactly known for her chastity, this party took things to another level. The fit couple threw a kinky celebration for the release of their CUT Fitness sex tape, which the audience got a steamy sneak peek of.
4. Tamra's Blast from the Past
The 'Wives aren't the only ones who are into the themes -- the husbands love it, too! Slade, Eddie and Terry went all out for this '80s party and Tamra was very impressed.
5. Ugly Sweater Party
Ugly sweaters may seem tame next to sex swings and mechanical bulls, but the ladies still get in the holiday spirit with this classic party theme, with an OC twist of course.
6. Tamra's Spooky Party
We think it's safe to crown Tamra as the queen of theme. She threw this "spooky" party back in Season 9 and the decor did not disappoint. The food, however, left much to be desired according to Shannon.
7. Vicki's Winter Wonderland Party
The theme wasn't the only thing that was cold at Vicki's Winter Wonderland party. The icy aesthetic was perfect for the drama that ensued.
8. The Flamenco Party
Cha-cha-cha! It's Lydia versus Slade again at a Flamenco-themed event, although it seems like these two are dancing more of a Tango.
9. Gretchen's Tupperware Party
Who could forget Gretchen's Tupperware party with Kay Sedia, the Drag Queen Tupperware saleperson?! While Tupperware seems like a tame theme, this party wasn't without its drama, proving that the 'Wives can spice up any and every get together.
