Heather Dubrow's Mexico Vacation Home Plans Have a Massive Price Tag
The Real Housewives of Orange County cast member has big plans for her dream vacation home — and the potential budget is even bigger.
Heather Dubrow is starting the process of making her dream vacation home a reality.
"I would love to build a house in Cabo," The Real Housewives of Orange County cast member shared on the show's February 2 episode. However, she explained, deciding on a property would require some compromise with her husband, Terry Dubrow. "When Terry and I talk about a budget, design, I am looking for something that speaks to me," she said. "Terry wants to make sure it's also speaking to his wallet."
While on vacation with her castmates, Heather took some time to look at different places with her realtor Taber, her architect Bing and his daughter, as well as Dr. Jen Armstrong, Shannon Storms Beador, and Heather's friend Tawnie. First, the group toured a $13 million 26,000-square-foot home that had seven bedrooms, seven bathrooms, and a wraparound pool.
Next, they checked out an $8 million lot that was just over an acre. Heather called Terry to discuss the idea of building a house there, and after estimating that the estimated total cost of building the home could be around $15.5 million, they weren't exactly in a rush to make a decision.
On the January 19 episode of RHOC, Heather opened up about her interest in finding her ideal home in Mexico. "Terry and I have been talking about vacation homes for the last two years," she said. "What I picture is a really beautiful, cool, sexy hideaway."
