In the short time that we've watched The Real Housewives of Orange County newbie, Braunwyn Windham-Burke, we've gotten to know a lot about the fun-loving mom of seven. And if you thought that the super fit, petite powerhouse has fully embraced OC fashion, think again — because Braunwyn always keeps us guessing, especially in the style department.
In a recent episode, Braunwyn shocked us with a surprisingly sexy ensemble that she wore for a full family photo, and it had us doing a double take.
In the episode, she gathers her gaggle of kids to take professional pics. "Wrangling seven kids for a photo shoot is Dante's seventh circle of hell. We do professional photo shoots whenever we have a new baby, which in our case, is every few years," the blonde beauty explains.
But Braunwyn proved that she likes to think outside the box when it comes to fashion...which sounds an awful lot like another Bravoleb mom we know. She wore a sheer, black, long-sleeved gown with a deep v-neck and strategic lace paneling.
Not only is the dress head-turning (this is a family photo, after all), but it's also totally familiar... because it's the same super sexy dress that Kathryn Dennis donned when she attended Patricia Altschul's season-ending party with her then-boyfriend, Hunter Price.
Oh, you know the one! Kathryn paired her dramatic, see-through gown with a red, heart-shaped fur cardigan (as one does) and sky high heels.
But Braunwyn brought her own unique bit of drama to the family photo with this dress. "We don't really fit into the California norm, so why even try," she offered. "If I see one more family photo at the beach in khaki pants and a white shirt, I might just vomit on myself."
Well said, Braunwyn. Shop Braunwyn and Kathryn's bold, lingerie-inspired Michael Costello x Revolve (he's a Project Runway alum!) below.
