You’ll Never Guess Where Megan King Edmonds Put Her Twins' Nursery

Hint: The Real Housewives of Orange County alum and her husband Jim are displaced.

By Courtney Thompson

In case you missed it, Meghan King Edmonds’ family grew … fast. (Recap: She’s given birth to three children in 18 months!) So fast, in fact, that The Real Housewives of Orange County alum had to get especially creative when it came to making room for her on-the-way twins. As a mom to four kids born in five years, believe me, I get it — families expand, but unless you’re planning on renovating, houses don’t!

How to Watch

Watch The Real Housewives of Orange County on Thursdays at 9/8c and next day on Peacock. Catch up on the Bravo App.

Always one to keep it real, Meghan dished on her blog recently how they handled the predicament. “So here begins the story of a family growing so fast we’ve grown out of our home: the twins have taken over our master bedroom!” Yup, this gives new meaning to what it means to be parent … ya gotta be selfless.

First flight for the twins! #idahome ❤️

To make way for the twins, Meghan and her husband Jimmy moved into a TV room off of their master and put a curtain up in the doorway between them and the babies. We’re going to file this under “Real Housewives: They Just Like Us!” Also, in case you’re feeling terribly sorry for the Edmonds, fear not, the couple are in the process of building a new house for their family of five (plus their live-in nanny).

Meghan also dished about her crib pick — which she believes is the most important piece of furniture in a nursery, because “It sets the stage for the entire decor of the room.” (We agree!) After discovering the Newport Cottages while decorating daughter Aspen’s room, Meghan knew she wanted to try it out again for the twins, as the brand is made-to-order from solid wood in the USA. More reasons she loves the company’s furniture: “It has that deep wood smell and feels strong and sturdy which is so hard to find in furniture anymore because it seems like everything is imported and made in bulk.”

The brand recently came out with a new Artisan Collection of cribs, featuring a natural stain that Meghan loved immediately. We’ve linked to her crib, dresser and couple of her other nursery must-haves below.
