While the thought of getting it on four times a day can seem exhausting for many, The Real Housewives of Orange County divorcée told fellow housewife Kelly Dodd (when they were speaking) that she’s “always horny” now. The two were vacationing in Jamaica during Monday night's episode when she revealed what’s going on in the bedroom.

“I’m always horny. Always. It's like a high libido all the time,” Vicki said, adding that she needs it more than Steve. “He can hang, but he doesn't need it four times a day like me.”

Before hooking up with Steve in 2016, Vicki was married twice: first to Michael J. Wolfsmith from 1982 to 1991 and then to Donn Gunvalson from 1994 to 2014.

It’s not unusual to be all sexed-up after a divorce, experts say, especially if sex wasn’t a priority during your marriage. There are also many reasons why it happens.

New York-based therapist Brenda A. Lewis, LCSW, who often counsels people on their sex lives, explains.

"First, with everyone the reasons are different. Often it's redemptive, and people feel free after divorce," she tells Personal Space. "They can also be starting again after feeling hurt and rejected in their marriage."

She says being validated by other people in a new positive way can make you want to have more sex.

"It can make you feel more alive and sexual and sexually free," she adds. "It's a way to lift your self- esteem."

Not having to deal with all the underlying stresses of marriage can also contribute to a happy sex life post-divorce.

"It can still be meaningful, but it doesn't have all those problems," Brenda says.
