Lizzie: I Felt Like Shannon Was Singled out

Lizzie shares her thoughts on Meghan and Shannon's feud.

By Lizzie Rovsek

Happy Monday! I hope everyone had a great weekend. I started fittings this morning in Baton Rouge, LA for the 51 contestants vying for the title of Miss USA. They're such an amazing group of young women.

How to Watch

Watch The Real Housewives of Orange County on  Peacock and the Bravo App.

Let's jump right into this episode shall we...

What was I thinking while Shannon and Meghan were arguing about the charity event? Well, I wasn't sure what to think. I honestly felt like Shannon was treated unfairly. It seemed that Meghan targeted her for some unknown reason...first the hoedown and now the charity event. Shannon didn't instigate either of the two incidents. Shannon never said anything derogatory about Meghan prior to this event and this charity thing seemed to come from left field. I also felt like Meghan just wouldn't let it go. I hate to say it, but I think she was looking for some kind of a fight.

Shannon Feels Ambushed by Meghan in Napa

Meghan really came on strong with Shannon and I wasn't really sure why. I found it very disrespectful that Meghan assumed Shannon was uncharitable. I don't believe that to be true in the least.

I didn't find out that Shannon wasn't invited to the JDRF party until I arrived at the event. I was looking forward to seeing Shannon and Vicki. I felt like Shannon was singled out and I don't think it was a particularly nice move on Meghan's part. We were all discussing this charity event in Napa and it was to my understanding that we ALL were invited. So, was Shannon uninvited? Understand that I really like Meghan, however I just did not understand why she was being so mean to Shannon.

Meghan Comes off Very Entitled

I think it was awesome that Vicki declined the invitation to the party and supported Shannon. I am friends with Shannon and Meghan and although I didn't know Shannon would not be there, I had no reason not to attend. Meghan had been nothing but nice to me and I had been enjoying getting to know her and Jimmy. It was a beautiful event and Meghan was a lovely host.

When I called Shannon, her and Vicki were whooping it up. I knew where I had to be. I wanted to support my friend. I went to support Meghan for her event and then I had to support my friend Shannon. It's not a good feeling to be left out and that's what friends do for each other. Besides I knew those two were having a blast and I wanted to have some good laughs. After all, Vicki IS the fun bus.

Have a great week!
