Alexis Bellino Shows the "Pandemonium" at Costco as She Preps for Coronavirus
The Real Housewives of Orange County alum is trying to prepare for the worst.
As the frenzy surrounding the coronavirus builds, Bravo personalities are doing what they can to prepare for a potential quarantine. And in the process, they're sharing posts that range from lighthearted to somewhat disturbing.
While Patricia Altschul is making sure her champagne supply doesn't dwindle (don't worry, she got toilet paper, too), Jax Taylor is hoarding Easter candy. Meanwhile, mamas Emilia Bechrakis and Alexis Bellino are out scouring the stores to find supplies for their families — and both are encountering some surreal circumstances.
After Emilia found totally bare shelves at her New York City supermarket during a late-night run, The Real Housewives of Orange County alum saw much longer-than-usual lines at Costco on the other coast.
In a March 12 Instagram share, the Orange County mom offered a peek at her fully loaded shopping cart. Alexis had stocked up on pantry staples such as cereal, ketchup, and Ziploc bags. She also bought paper napkins in bulk, which might have had to do with the fact that the store was apparently sold out of paper towels and toilet paper. "I've never seen anything like this before," a voice can be heard saying in the background of one of Alexis's short videos.
In another video, the former Real Housewife said, "OK, at Costco, and got it all going on, just in case we're all stuck in the house." Showing the line of shoppers waiting to check out, she shared that it would be about an hour's wait. "Yeah, it's gonna be a fun hour," she quipped.
In her caption, Alexis shed some more light on the chaos. "[Pandemonium] is happening here [at Costco] this morning! Definitely more than 250 people here....second trip in a week, we are stocked!"
