Braunwyn Says There's "a Beautiful Story" Behind Sean's Statement Necklaces
The Real Housewives of Orange County mom says critics are "going to feel a little crappy about themselves" after hearing the story behind the necklaces.
Braunwyn Windham-Burke's husband, Sean Burke, knows his way around a statement necklace. The Real Housewives of Orange County duo has a unique flair for fashion that includes epic couples costumes and high heels. But there is little doubt that Sean's best-known sartorial statement is certainly his love of eclectic necklaces.
So when Braunwyn joined Untamed author Glennon Doyle in the Clubhouse for a virtual episode of Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen and the topic turned to Sean's affinity for sizable accessories, Braunwyn revealed a few interesting details about the origin of the necklaces.
It all started innocently enough when Braunwyn hilariously attempted to explain what Sean does for a living. "He does high scale infrastructure for state and local and federal governments," Braunwyn explained after clarifying that she prefers to spend the money rather than make it. (Same.)
"Well, he must be making bank to buy all those statement necklaces," Andy offered. Then, Braunwyn explained that there is more to Sean's statement baubles than meets the eye.
"His immunity idols," she began excitedly. "We actually film the story behind that this year. I talked to the native Hawaiian that designed them... and you know what, some people are going to feel a little crappy about themselves after. It's a really beautiful story from a really beautiful man on a really beautiful island."
