Emily & Shane Simpson Had the Fanciest Anniversary & Valentine's Day Celebration
The RHOC couple's night out for their February 14th wedding anniversary included a romantic 5-course meal at the "cutest restaurant ever."
After getting married on February 14th, 2009, Emily Simpson and Shane Simpson have a lot to celebrate on Valentine's Day each year. So for their 13th wedding anniversary, The Real Housewives of Orange County couple honored their special day in a sweet and fancy way.
While sharing Instagram Story videos from the "cutest restaurant ever," Five Vines Wine Bar, Emily showed the table setup for the evening, complete with red roses and a custom heart featuring their last name. As for the food, the five-course meal included a grilled pear and arugula salad, lobster bisque, stuffed portobello mushroom, a choice of steak or vegetarian angel hair pasta, and a chocolate lava cake for dessert. The couple's sweet treat was made even more special with a candle and "Happy Anniversary" written on their plate.
"Happy anniversary darling," Emily said in a clip. "This is so cute."
Emily gushed over her relationship with Shane in an Instagram post the same day. "13 years ago today a took a HUGE leap of faith and married Shane at the Bellagio Hotel in Las Vegas on Valentine’s Day. I had no idea what I was doing, but I did know that I was marrying an honest and kind man, a great father and a man of integrity," she wrote. "Fast forward 13 years, five children and a reality show later and I still have the same opinion. He is honorable, kind, honest and trustworthy and he can deliver a dry, sarcastic and witty one liner like nobody’s business!"
"Thank you for making me crazy, but also making me laugh, for supporting me in every endeavor I take, for the never ending food jokes and for holding my hair back when I drink too much tequila," she continued. "You are my lobster. Happy Anniversary Babe!"
