Emily Simpson Debuts Her Post-Surgery "Real Tatas, No Implants"
The Real Housewives of Orange County mom shared a look at her new chest after having her breasts implants removed.
Emily Simpson is taking us all along on her latest body transformation journey.
On October 19, The Real Housewives of Orange County mom went in for breast implant removal surgery and a reverse tummy tuck, and her plastic surgeon Dr. Siamak Agha shared a full look at her procedure live on Instagram. One day later, Emily returned to IG to reveal her new post-surgery breasts.
"Hi, guys. I just wanted to thank you all for all the nice messages and comments and positive thoughts. You guys are so sweet. I wish I could respond to each and every one of you, but I am in so much pain," she shared in an IG video on October 20. Emily then panned the camera down toward her chest and said, "That's my real tatas. No implants anymore."
She continued, "I literally feel like a truck just ran over my body and just ripped it up. So, I am in a lot of pain, but I am happy to see the end results and feel better eventually."
Prior to the surgery, Emily explained why she decided to have her implants removed. "I put in silicone implants 4 years ago and I feel my arthritis and joint pain increased significantly after doing this. I researched and read a lot about BII (breast implant illness) so I decided to remove them for health reasons," she shared during a virtual Q&A session on IG. "Originally I thought I could just replace them with saline implants... but my [doctor] informed me that even saline implants are covered in a silicone shell. So the only way to be completely silicone free is to remove them and not replace!"
Emily also said that her doctor thinks she'll be "about a C cup" after the surgery. "If I think I'm [too] small (I just want to be proportionate) and want more volume, there's always the option of having a fat transfer later," she added.
