Yes, Gina Kirschenheiter knows the size of her house has been "a hot topic" over the last few years, but The Real Housewives of Orange County cast member is far from concerned about her home's square footage. "We do have enough space," Gina exclusively told Bravo Insider. "'Cause our kids are little."

With that in mind, Gina and her boyfriend, Travis Mullen, recently renovated the three-bedroom home to help further optimize the space. As part of the transformation, they made some very big changes to the setup. "We built in a really beautiful dining area with probably the largest dining room table ever," Gina shared "Like, it's humongous. That's the first comment that everybody makes. They're just like, 'This is such a big table.' We're like, 'Yes, but we have a lot of children.'"

The couple, who live in the home with their combined six kids, also extended their kitchen island to "three times [its previous] size" when they renovated the room. "The kids have more space to spread out, and it's made it more of an entertaining space," Gina explained. "Which is really nice, 'cause I can have people over and host and entertain."

Of course, Gina's home transformation wasn't complete until she swapped in some gorgeous new decor. "It's fun to design and decorate," Gina said. "I like to do everything myself." Among the new additions were paintings by artist Sarah Brooke (which she had to "hunt" down), a redone closet, and some "aesthetic tweaks" to her bedroom including a black accent wall.

"The changes have been a total game changer," Gina declared. "The way that our home was set up before was not really conducive to a family with six children. So that was most of the thought process with changing it. So everything is stunningly beautiful, but it's also very functional for us as a family."

However, Gina predicts that eventually they will move on to a new primary home. "Ultimately, I do think that we will outgrow the space," she shared, noting that she's "done for now" with any major home updates. "I don't see it as my forever home, but obviously depending on what we realistically can do, I would like to keep this home and get something a little bit bigger. But it kind of is our first home that we were all a family in, so it will be hard to let it go."
