Is Heather Dubrow Selling Her House?
The RHOC cast member thinks "it's time to make a move" out of the Dubrow Chateau.
Heather Dubrow answered fan questions directly via text message on Wednesday, January 12 before a new episode of RHOC! To get notified about future Bravoleb Q&As, breaking news and more, text "DailyDish" to +1 (917) 809-2240.
As Heather Dubrow explained in the video above, her incredible house has "become sort of a character" on The Real Housewives of Orange County, and it's easy to understand why. The massive home has a wall dedicated to her beloved "champs," the "ultimate kitchen/living room" that's perfect for entertaining, and a jaw-dropping closet.
However, in a recent Q&A session with fans, Heather revealed that the Dubrow Chateau isn't necessarily her forever home. "This is the longest we've ever been in a house. It's been five years," she shared. "And the kids are leaving soon. It just feels to me — maybe I'm just itchy design-wise — but it feels to me like it's time to make a move. But Terry [Dubrow]'s not leaving, so there you go."
While she has no plans to leave her home at the moment, Heather has considered making a move back to New York. Noting she and Terry "almost bought an apartment" in the Big Apple but ultimately decided against it, Heather explained, "I could see myself having an apartment there. But it depends where the kids end up."
Heather and Terry are also looking into owning property in San José del Cabo, Mexico. "Terry and I have been talking about vacation homes for the last two years," she explained after meeting with her architect on the January 19 episode of RHOC. "What I picture is a really beautiful, cool, sexy hideaway."
For now, the couple is focusing their real estate efforts on their Idaho home build. Heather gave an update on their vacation home during the Q&A session, noting that due to "a shortage of builders in the area...the project is gonna take longer than we thought."
