Heather Dubrow Shares a “Fun Fact” About the RHOC Cast Trip to Mexico
The Real Housewives of Orange County cast member revealed a surprising tidbit behind one of her group vacation looks.
Heather Dubrow remembered to pack monogrammed “trip gifts” for Mexico, but she claims that she wasn’t able to be as organized about her accessories. In a recent Instagram post, The Real Housewives of Orange County cast member revealed a “fun fact” about the jewelry she wore during the Season 17 cast trip — and it involved some quick thinking.
To really appreciate Heather’s factoid, which we’ll get to in a moment, let’s take it back to RHOC Season 7. This marked Heather’s first season as a cast member, and she dressed in style for her reunion debut. (You can relive it all in the clip above.)
For the 2012 sit-down, the champagne connoisseur wore a black cocktail dress with a floral print and lacy trim. Heather recently revisited the look, sharing a throwback photo of it on Instagram as she mused about her reunion style. “Can I just say I’ve only worn black to a reunion ONCE!!” she wrote. “That deserves a moment.”
Though she didn’t wear a little black dress to any ensuing reunions, Heather did re-wear one element of the aforementioned outfit — and this all ties back to her look in Mexico.
Heather Dubrow re-wears her Season 7 reunion jewelry
In a recent Instagram Story, Heather shared a photo of herself on the Season 17 cast trip, wearing a vibrant dress by Chiara Boni La Petite Robe. The one-shoulder gown had an asymmetrical neckline with a cutout shoulder strap. It was covered in bright flowers befitting the tropical setting.
Heather paired the pretty dress with a slicked-back hairstyle and some bling that might look familiar. In the caption of her Instagram Story, the mother of four wrote: “Fun fact about this outfit — we had just moved into our rental and I didn’t know where anything was… so I pulled out whatever jewelry was on top. The earrings and bracelet [were] from the outfit I wore at the First Reunion.”
She even shared photos of her throwback reunion style.
As for that rental, Heather and her husband, Dr. Terry Dubrow, have made lots of real-estate moves recently. Most notably, the couple sold their storied Orange County abode, aka the Dubrow Chateau for a historic sum.
Last October, Heather confirmed to Entertainment Tonight that she and Terry had sold their 22,000-square-foot mansion in Newport Beach, California, for $55 million. But as they sold one home, they bought another pad: “We just bought a cool penthouse in L.A., and sometimes the universe shows you the right direction,” she said. “Change is exciting!”
