Kelly Dodd & Fiancé Rick Levanthal 'Shelter in Place' in NYC
The Real Housewives of Orange County couple had some “essential travel,” but are now staying put in Manhattan.
As the country braces itself amid the spread of coronavirus, Kelly Dodd and her fiancé, Fox News correspondent Rick Leventhal, have had to be on the move. After traveling to Florida, the couple is luckily hunkering down now. “Going to shelter in another place and then coming back to shelter in the first place.... with the best partner I could ever ask for @kellyddodd,” Rick wrote alongside a photo of himself and Kelly on a nearly-empty airplane.
The couple says their travel was unavoidable. "It’s essential travel,” Rick responded to a commenter. “Have stuff that needs taking care of. If the airline is putting planes in the sky why can’t we fly? And support the economy? Thanks @jetblue for getting us where we needed to go and getting us back home tomorrow."
Upon arriving in Manhattan, Kelly shared a scene from Rick’s apartment, where she was making dinner. “Now we’re back in the city, yeah we’re not leaving,” she said during an Instagram Story video, with Rick adding, “We’re sheltering in place in New York, we’re here for good.”
Previously, Kelly had been self-quarantining in her gorgeous new home with her mom and daughter, and she even spied castmate Braunwyn Windham-Burke while taking a walk — fear not, the friends just waved from afar. “You’re walking in your neighborhood and here you see Braunwyn and Sean — I miss you,” Kelly said during an Instagram Story video posted last week. “We’re going to say ‘hi’ from a distance, we’re doing social distancing. Hi, guys!”
