2020 is proving to be an exciting year for Kelly Dodd and fiancé Rick Leventhal. The Real Housewives of Orange County pair are set to walk down the aisle in October 2020, and earlier this week they moved into their first home together

"It's a family, fun house," the Positive Beverage co-founder exclusively revealed to BravoTV.com. "It’s got six bedrooms, five [bathrooms], two offices, a pool, and a spa. So, it’s a really nice family home."

An added bonus: Her friends are within shouting distance. "My neighbors are Braunwyn [Windham-Burke] and Shannon [Storms Beador]," Kelly said, adding the trio are located "within streets of each other."

Though Kelly is thrilled with her new spot, the process of finding it wasn't easy. "I had a hard time finding a place because I wanted my budget to be at $10 grand [a month] and I couldn't find anything," Kelly explained. "Everything for $10,000 was complete s--t. So, it was unbelievable. Like, in Arizona, for $10,000 a month, you can find a palatial place — and in most of America. But Orange County is so outrageously expensive, I could not find anything for $10 grand, so I happened to have a friend that was moving into their new house and said, 'Hey, I’m renting this house for $10 grand. Want to take it?' and I’m like, 'Yeah!'"

Though friends were on hand to help Kelly move in, there's plenty left to do: "I’m not organized. Things are still in boxes. I was overwhelmed with everything."

For many couples co-habitating (and decorating together!) for the first time can prove challenging, but Kelly and Rick are taking it in stride. "He's letting me do my own thing," Kelly said of decorating their new shared space. "He's not getting involved. I hate when men get involved. And he has three other houses that he decorated himself. He's a dude, so he has his dude places."

While the couple's abode does not have a man cave carved out, Rick's "got his own office," says Kelly (one of two in the home). "And he's got the outdoors. He watches a lot of sports. He's a man's man. He likes to BBQ and watch sports."

It'll be some time before Rick, who is currently splitting his time between New York City and Los Angeles, will be fully moved in, but Kelly is counting down the days: "He’s been out here for most of February, working out here in [Fox News'] L.A. bureau. However, he may wind up back in New York because that’s where he’s based. [Fox] said that they would transfer him sometime in the spring. He’s got an apartment in New York that he’s selling. Then, he wants to rent out his house in Florida and his house in the Hamptons for the summer."
