Meghan King’s Daughter Had the Most Adorable Outfit for Her First Day of Kindergarten

Meghan King celebrated her daughter Aspen’s latest milestone in style. The Real Housewives of Orange County alum dressed up her eldest child in the cutest outfit for her first day of kindergarten, as captured in a recent post on Instagram.

On August 18, Meghan took to Instagram to show off her daughter’s adorable first day of school look. As captured in the sweet slideshow of photos, the 5-year-old was all smiles in a blue collared dress with red stripe detailing along the neckline and sleeves. She also donned a matching white-and-red headband and red shoes.

“Today was Aspen’s first day of kindergarten!” Meghan wrote in the caption of the post.

The proud mom also shared how the start of the new school year has led to a new morning routine. “I bought two of these whiteboard calendar from the dollar store and draw pictures to let them know their schedule over the next two weeks (my art isn’t terrible but it isn’t great either lol) so we pulled one aside for aspen to keep in her bathroom to remind her what to do before she comes downstairs in the morning," Meghan wrote. "[Aspen] loved ‘reading’ the words next to the drawings and claiming her own independence by getting herself ready for the day.”

Meghan concluded the post by adding, “I’ve definitely shed some tears at random moments thinking about how my little girl is going to kindergarten and giving up her nap (yes! She still naps!) but Hayes reminded me “’t’s ok, Mom, she will come back again.’”
