Vicki Gunvalson Explains Her Swollen Eyes: "Don't Make Fun of Me"
The RHOC alum had an unfortunate reaction to a beauty product.
Vicki Gunvalson has been enjoying some fun in the sun at a beach in Mexico lately, but her vacation plans hit a bit of a snag when she had an unexpected reaction to one of her beauty products. Always one to keep it real, The Real Housewives of Orange County alum opened up about the uncomfortable situation in a series of Instagram Story posts.
In a photo in which Vicki is posing with a friend, both rocking summery floral sundresses, she explained why she was looking a little different than she normally does.
“Don’t make fun of me,” Vicki began. “I had an allergic reaction to eyelash glue. Yes my eyes are swollen.”
Falsies can be tricky enough, even without experiencing an allergic reaction, so we totally feel you, Vicki!
Vicki also included a photo to show what her eyes looked like before she sought out treatment for the swelling. She posted a selfie on her Instagram Story, noting it was taken “earlier today before my farmacia steroid shot.”
Although Vicki was clearly experiencing a bit of discomfort with her swollen eyelids, she seems to have really enjoyed her vacation. In a September 22 post, Vicki shared a glimpse from her adventures at La Troza Beach Resort, writing, “Sorry, not sorry…but excuse me I’ll be posting a lot about this incredible home.”
