Eddie Judge Insisted His CBD Gummies Be Made Vegan After This Upsetting Epiphany

It was a sad, shudder-inducing day when Eddie Judge learned what gummy bears — his onetime favorite snack — are really made of. Spoiler alert: Many of them contain animal bones and other unappetizing ingredients, including pork skin connective tissue. So, now that The Real Housewives of Orange County husband makes his own CBD gummies as part of his VENA Wellness line, how does he avoid filling them with the aforementioned yuck factor? 

Eddie addressed that when he appeared alongside Tamra Judge on Heather Dubrow's podcast, Heather Dubrow's World. "We're taking it a little step farther than just gummies, we're using Pectin not gelatin, because I just discovered what gelatin [is made of]," said the onetime gummy-bear fan.

"Yeah, cuz there's bones in gelatin," Heather sympathized.

Listen, it wasn't easy for Eddie to quit his habit. "Eddie is a huge gummy bear fan," Tamra said. "I mean, even at our wedding we had gummy bears. So now, he has sworn off all gummy bears."

Eddie added: "It's been the hardest thing I've ever done."
