Kelly Dodd Just Shared a Surprisingly Helpful Fun Fact About Champagne
The Real Housewives of Orange County jet-setter Kelly Dodd must have picked up some knowledge about bubbly during her recent yacht vacation.
Kelly Dodd spent some of her summer days living it up on a yacht, and apparently, while she cruised around the European seas, she picked up a thing or two about toasting to the good life. Luckily, now that she's back on dry land, she's ready to impart some of her wisdom to the rest of us.
In a recent Instagram Story, Kelly's Real Housewives of Orange County pal Emily Simpson shared a video of the jet-setter doing an impromptu champagne tutorial. While in her makeup chair, Kelly had this to say: "So, champagne is made in France, that's the origin," she shared. Don't worry, it gets more revelatory.
Demonstrating how to properly open the bottle of bubbly by twisting off the wire, Kelly imparted this tip: "So there's six twists in a champagne bottle .. You want to keep the effervescence in the champagne bottle, so you twist very slow."
Huh! Who knew?
And here we were, thinking that Heather Dubrow was the champers expert of the OC.
