It's taking a while to warm up in some parts of the country, but believe it or not, the season for icy treats will be here soon. And Aspen Edmonds, for one, is practicing her popsicle-eating skills. Smart girl!
In a recent Instagram Story, Aspen's mother, Meghan King Edmonds, documented a sweet food milestone for her daughter. "Someone loves her first popsicle," she wrote to caption the snap, which showed Aspen looking contentedly at the icy dessert from her high chair.
Well, look at that! Aspen's an experienced sweets-eater now, having checked off her first piece of cake and her first popsicle.
In her post, Meghan tagged The Modern Pop. This seems like a good popsicle brand to start with, since it prides itself on healthy factors like using flash-frozen nutrient fruit and being non-GMO. And the plant-based biz is actually founded by parents!
And speaking of health-conscious parents, it looks like Meghan made sure Aspen ate her veggies before dessert. Check out the traces of leftover greens in front of Aspen. Not that she's paying them much mind:
