As Meghan King Edmonds — and parents the world over — know, it's hard to get anything done while taking care of a toddler. That includes grocery shopping. And when it comes to trying to sneak in a happy-hour drink with a little one in tow, the hour becomes a little more hectic than happy.
In a recent Instagram Story, The Real Housewives of Orange County alum shared a snap of herself holding up a cocktail to cheers. How much of that cocktail did she get to sip? The jury's out on that one, but Meghan was pretty sure she already knew the answer.
In the caption, the Saint Louis mama quipped: "Afternoon cheers with a side of toddlers. Chances we will get to finish them? Slim."
Once again, we're sure this is pretty much a universal truth of parenting.
