Ashley Darby isn't going to let anything get in the way of her hair appointment — not even an hours-long train ride. The Real Housewives of Potomac beauty just hopped an Amtrak train to get to her stylist Mo of MoKnowsHair in NYC for the perfect summer cut.

"I'm sitting here with my girl Mo, who knows some hair," Ashley explained in an Instagram Story video yesterday. "Mo thinks that I'm lying, but when she says she can take me for an emergency appointment, I jumped on the train 30 mins later." Mo chimed in, saying with a laugh: "I thought she was already in town."

We know the feeling, when you need a salon appointment ASAP. Clearly Ashley's determination paid off because her curls are looking better than ever.

"She’s summer-ready with round layers and front fringe (cut on wet hair), styled with @mixedchickshair leave-in conditioner and @chihaircare reflect oil," Mo wrote in the caption.

Ashley posted a few Instagram stories of the cut in process, and she explained why she's willing to travel to an entirely different city for this look. "Guys, I feel like a whole new woman, my hair's all bouncing. Mo has just has worked her magic on me. She has the Midas touch, y'all: shape, moisture, everything," she said.
