Katie Rost Shaved Her Head and THAT Is Why She's Wearing Wigs: "I F--king Failed"

Katie Rost has had a busy week: The Real Housewives of Potomac stunner just got engaged to her boyfriend, Jesse, with a gorgeous heirloom engagement ring. Yet in the midst of all the fanfare on and off camera, one topic has been on the minds of loyal viewers during Katie’s recent appearances onscreen: her wig. Katie has been spotted in almost every frame sporting a new wig — and we have questions. 
 
First of all, why? We love seeing Katie rock her beautiful locks. So why the new 'do? Thankfully, she's taken to Twitter to clear a few things up in her typical hilarious fashion. 
 
It seems Katie decided to shave her newly bleached blonde hair in December 2018 (which alone was pretty shocking to us), and when it came time to film with fellow Potomac Housewives, she was in the midst of an awkward one-inch phase of growth, so she unearthed a few wigs to buy some time.

In a recent tweet, Katie explains it all, saying, “Ik, I'm putting it all out there, I shaved my head last december and I was in that one and a half inch zone of new growth, I also bleached my hair blonde when I shaved it, so I went with wigs and clearly I f--king FAILED #RHOP #katierost."

Honestly, we are loving Katie’s cropped blonde curls!
