New Mom Ashley Darby Totally Regrets Judging Moms Who Wear Sweats and No Makeup

Ashley Darby is settling into new mom life one day at a time. And though The Real Housewives of Potomac beauty fearlessly donned a slew of head-turning looks during her pregnancy (wearing everything from itty bitty bikinis to cut-out jumpsuits and frilly pink dresses), it seems she's traded in her body con looks for more comfortable digs. But Ashley hasn't always been so open minded when it comes to postpartum fashion. Ashley spoked exclusively with The Lookbook backstage during the RHOP reunion, and the Maryland-based singer is really regretting judging makeup-free mom who live in sweatpants — mainly because she's become one herself. 

Just five weeks after giving birth, Ashley hit up the RHOP reunion as her "classy ratchet self" in a look that was part bodysuit and part lace sheath that was topped off with a cape — you know, casual. But as she described her inspiration behind the look, she opened up about how her perspective on new mom style has dramatically changed now that getting all glammed up isn't the norm. 

Ashley was pleasantly surprised that all the pieces of her fashion puzzle came together into one stunning look given her new life filled with cozy classics: "I live in sweatpants and a sweatshirt." And apparently, swapping slinky dresses for sweats was something that took Ashley by surprise. 

"When people said that — it’s so true," she confessed. "To all the moms who I have ever been like, 'Girl, come on. Just shower and come out.' I’m so sorry. It’s really not easy. Still, I always was like, 'Oh my God, you had the baby. Let’s keep moving.' But, it’s really not like that at all."
