Bravotv.com: We see Candiace accompany you to your dentist appointment and we see her refer to you as her surrogate mother and she also mentions that the rapport she has with you is ideally what she’d have with her mother. How does that make you feel?

Karen Huger: Candiace and I have lots of fun together. Our friendship is based on mutual respect. Candiace knows I'm a recent empty-nester, my babies are grown and I'm living my best life. Besides, Mrs. Dorothy holds the Mommy title in Candiace's life. However I'll gladly fill in as the 'Fairy God Auntie'. 

Bravotv.com: What were your feelings heading into the group trip to New Orleans?

KH: I thought the trip to NOLA was a good idea. Although, timing was tough for me as I had just buried both my parents, so I took this trip as a diversion and as an opportunity to connect with all the ladies. So...to say I was surprised that Gizelle attacked me about our friendship is an understatement!!

Bravotv.com: Were you surprised Gizelle confronted you in front of all of the ladies after your cooking class

KH: Gizelle just looked CRAWFISH CRAZY! Clearly, Gizelle is a very manipulative insecure person. I'll pray for her and send some books so she can read about how to be a friend--because obviously, she needs some guidance.
