The Real Housewives of Potomac cast member and mom to three daughters — oldest, Grace, and twins Adore and Angel Bryant — will brag about her girls at any chance she can, as seen on RHOP Season 8, Episode 14.

When Gizelle and the rest of the cast members sat down for dinner during their trip to the Dominican Republic, she announced that Grace was following in her footsteps and attending an HBCU. But instead of attending her alma mater, Hampton University, located in Virginia, she revealed that Grace would be going even further south.

Read on to hear about Grace's big college decision and see how Gizelle reflected about her own time while attending college.

Grace Bryant's Decision to Attend College in Florida

Following her daughter's graduation, Gizelle announced at dinner that Grace decided to attend an HBCU in Florida. "So I'll be crying next week," Gizelle said.

She admitted that she was a little nervous to let her daughter go somewhere so far from home. "I mean, Florida in my mind, is like a whole 'nother little country of its own," she said, "So my advice to her is, you know, stick with your friends, stay on the campus, don't be, you know, galivanting off into the depths of Florida."

Grace is currently attending Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University in Tallahassee, Florida, and seems to be "thriving." According to posts made on her Instagram account, she has gone to football games, celebrated her birthday, and seems to be having a great time there.

On an episode of Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen this week, Gizelle did confirm that her daughter is doing "fantastic" at school, sharing that "She's thriving."

Gizelle Bryant's College Experience at an HBCU

During dinner, Gizelle noted that fellow cast member, Karen Huger, gave her a great piece of advice regarding Grace's graduation day. "It's not about you," she recalled. "It's about her."

But, Gizelle still took the time to reflect on her own college experience attending Hampton University, where she earned a degree in marketing.

"When Grace was looking at colleges, it was very important for her to go to an HBCU, honey, because she wants to be all around a Black community," Gizelle said. "I went to an HBCU, I'm very proud of it, and that is where she is going."

Photos of a young Gizelle were then flashed on screen during the episode, as seen above, showing her time as a young member of the sorority, Alpha Kappa Alpha

Now that Gizelle's youngest daughters are in their senior year of high school, they will be making their decision on where to attend college very soon. It's obvious she will be proud of them, no matter where they decide to go.
