When it comes to her son's nursery, Ashley Darby wants the little one to go wild.
In the video above, The Real Housewives of Potomac mom gave an update on her baby, Dean, while showing off her son's adorable room, which is full of animal accents. A colorful variety of green and blue fish are painted on the walls throughout the room. The wall behind Dean's crib has the fish covering its entirety, while other areas of the nursery feature the creatures as a trim.
In March 2019, Ashley shared an Instagram Story that featured her husband, Michael Darby, hand-painting the pattern. At the time, she shared a video of fish swimming in a crystal blue body of water, calling the clip "our inspiration."
"Michael can do absolutely ANYTHING!" she gushed at the time of her husband's DIY project. "I always said I wanted to marry a man who was good with his hands. Prayers answered."
In the video above, the sleek white crib is mostly empty, with the exception of what appears to be a large stuffed koala bear and a dark blue blanket. Also on full display is a shelving unit holding a variety of books, a football, and an adorable stuffed elephant, among other things.
With the nursery all set up and Dean going through a "growth spurt," it seems Ashley is happily making her way through motherhood milestones. "It's been the most incredible experience so far," she said in the video above. "Dean has taught me a lot, mostly about patience."
