See Inside Candiace Dillard Bassett's Gorgeous New $1.1M House
The Real Housewives of Potomac cast member has a new 10,500-square-foot abode with six bedrooms and seven bathrooms.
Candiace Dillard Bassett has a gorgeous new home. In the Bravo Insider video above, which shares an exclusive first look at The Real Housewives of Potomac's Season 6, Candiace showed a new look inside her massive abode.
Although she shared that the 10,500-square-foot property is still "a work in progress," Candiace envisioned one room of the house to look "homey but still beautiful," she explained to a contractor. "This is a little bit of a sanctuary."
When Gizelle Bryant, who recently renovated her own home, came to visit Candiace's new 6-bedroom 7-bathroom house, she was certainly impressed. "Look at the mansion!" she exclaimed.
In November 2020, Candiace announced she had purchased the home with a sweet Instagram photo of her and Chris Bassett holding a "Sold" sign. “Much to be thankful for,” she wrote in the caption of the photo, adding hashtags that read, “grateful,” “our house,” and “moves on moves on moves."
"We purchased a new home," Candiace added on Part 1 of the RHOP Season 5 reunion. "It was purchased by myself and my husband."
During the show's fifth season, Candiace opened up about what she is looking for in a dream home. "I want to live on the water," she said at the time. "I need six bedrooms. I want between seven and nine thousand square feet. I'm looking for a Mediterranean theme, so I need the balusters that have the swirls in them going up the steps. I need certain kinds of crown molding. I do want coffered ceilings in the foyer. I need a two-story foyer. I need grand chandeliers."
