This Is How Candiace Dillard Bassett Gets "Chiseled for the Gods"

Candiace Dillard Bassett is taking us behind the scenes, only this time it's of the beauty variety. The Real Housewives of Potomac cast member had big plans for her over-the-top interview beauty look. And for Season 5, Candiace is looking to switch things up with a little inspiration from her former beauty queen days.  

“So for me, the most important things are, of course, brows," Candiace explains in the video above. "[And] concealer under the eyes, too. I need to be chiseled for the gods!" she exclaimed. 

Her exaggerated braided crown and high-volume curls were created by none other than her go-to hair guru, "Steph the hair queen!" Candiace explains in the clip above,"I did want a little something different this time. But she actually came up with the idea to do a Grecian braid. So all of this leave out on top will be put into some ridiculous, dramatic, queen-like, Grecian braid situation."

Done and done. 

Of course, for Candiace, every occasion is the right time for oversized waves. "Just falling in the beachy waves," Steph adds, "which she loves." 

"It's the pageant girl in me," Candiace jokes. Go big or go home.
