Gizelle Bryant Channeled an Iconic Beauty Queen for Halloween
The Real Housewives of Potomac cast member looked dazzling as Vanessa Williams during her 1983 Miss America win.
Gizelle Bryant channeled an icon for Halloween 2021 — and she looked iconic while doing it. In an October 29 Instagram post, The Real Housewives of Potomac cast member shared a photo of her costume, and it was nothing short of dazzling.
"I got to dress up with [The Real] ladies! I’m honored to pay tribute to the 1st Black Miss America [Vanessa Williams]," she wrote. "She is an amazing singer, dancer, actress … simply an icon!"
To channel Williams, Gizelle wore a beautiful, pale-pink evening gown that was embellished with sequined floral designs. The dress had a large, pale-pink puff of tulle on its shoulder, and Gizelle paired it with a tiara, a rose-strewn scepter, and makeup that mimicked Williams' 1984 look.
The Potomac mama wore red lipstick, fluttery lashes, and frosty shades of eyeshadow. She also wore her hair in a short, wavy coif that echoed Williams' winning hairdo.
