As Karen threw multiple packs of chicken into her trash can, she said to herself, “Ray [Huger]’s [gonna] kill me, but this is dirty.” Moments later, while on a FaceTime call with her daughter, Rayvin Huger, Karen explained, “I’m in here cleaning out the refrigerator because I’m allergic to chicken, which… they call it the dirty bird.” Karen’s negative opinion of chicken seems to have influenced Rayvin, who shared, “I haven’t had chicken since you [first] said that.”

In an interview, Karen opened up about finding out she had an allergy to chicken. “I think turning 5-9 is just a number, first of all. I plan on living a very long time, so I actually did go to a doctor, who found out what my digestive system could digest,” she explained. “So when she tested me for chicken, i.e., the dirty bird, I failed miserably.”

However, it doesn’t seem as though Karen will miss having chicken in her meals. “It’s a traumatized bird that we’re putting in our bodies. No thank you,” she said. “I may absorb that trauma.”

While Rayvin didn’t clarify if she was also permanently eliminating chicken from her diet, she did make some other food-related changes. “I am on a health kick, too, and it’s really, really hard, because I have to go and, like, cook,” she explained to Karen, who asked, “Do you own a pan?”

“I’m gonna be honest with you,” Rayvin responded. “I don’t.”
