Monique Samuels Celebrated Her 37th Birthday with a Bedazzled 3-Tier Cake
The Real Housewives of Potomac cast member's special day featured a towering blinged-out confection.
For her 37th birthday celebration, Monique Samuels took her love for all things sparkly to the next level with an incredible blinged-out cake.
As seen in The Real Housewives of Potomac cast member's Instagram photos, the pink confection featured edible rhinestone bands around the bottom of each of its three tiers (Gizelle Bryant's 50th birthday cake had a similar style), and was covered in a variety of gems. In addition to candles, the cake was also topped with a message that read, "Happy 37th birthday Monique."
In the caption of the Instagram post, Monique reflected on the significance of her special day. "37! This is the time to be bold and brave because good things are waiting," she wrote. "The meaning of number 37 is wisdom and clarity. I embrace this journey and I’m ready for the next level!!!! Thank you to everyone for all of the birthday love and well wishes!!! I’m 37!!!! Wow!!"
While Monique and Gizelle celebrated their birthdays this year with towering cakes, some of their RHOP castmates chose to ring in their big days with some special drinks instead. Karen Huger had a bottle of champagne on hand for her virtual 57th birthday party in May, while Robyn Dixon celebrated her 41st birthday in March with a "quarantini" mixed drink at home. "Birthday cocktail!" Robyn captioned a photo of her beverage. "Open tab tonight."
