“My hair is falling out, and it’s thin, especially at the crown,” Wendy told her dermatologist, Dr. Kindred. “The back is fine.”

“I started losing hair after Kamrynn,” she shared in an episode interview. “I’ve ignored it for a long time, but now it’s definitely getting worse.”

Wendy detailed her symptoms while speaking to the dermatologist. “I feel tender, so tender,” she said. “And I feel like my body is almost, like, breaking down because I do so much.”

As Dr. Kindred explained, it’s not uncommon to see stress lead to hair loss. “Here’s what’s happening: What stress does is it literally pulls nutrients away from your follicle, because in times of stress, hair is not a priority for the body,” she said. “Stress worsens it, tensions [worsen] it.”

After admitting, “All I know is stress,” Wendy shared, “All I grew up around is watching my mom operate under stress, and that [seemed like] the only way to live.”

Wendy opened up about her “super chaotic” life on the show’s Season 7 premiere. “I wake up at six to get the kids ready for school, I focus on all of my lessons for my professorship, I look over orders for Onyi Home Essentials, I also have speaking engagements, and I have my upcoming book,” she shared. “But I lack the ability to say no to opportunities.”
