Heather Gay Reveals the Holiday 2023 Plans That Have Her "Really Excited"
The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City cast member is looking forward to a very festive season.
Ahead of the taping for The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City Season 4 reunion in November, Heather Gay talked to BravoTV.com about her holiday plans. While sitting in hair and makeup sipping a chai latte (in a festive red cup, no less), the mother of three opened up about the thing that had her "really excited."
"I'm taking my daughter to Maui for Thanksgiving, so as soon as [the Season 4 reunion taping] is over we're off to Maui," she said happily. "I'm really excited about that. And then we just have our other Christmas traditions at home."
Speaking of home, Heather moved into a gorgeous new house after spending decades in her previous home. “I’ve been living in the same house since I moved to Utah, you know, 20 years ago,” Heather said during an interview on Season 4 Episode 1 of The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City. “It’s the house that I raised my kids in. It was the house that I lived in with my husband, and even after the divorce, I stayed there so it would be consistent and I wouldn’t disrupt my kids’ lives.”
However, Heather knew it was time to make a change.

During the same Season 4 interview, Heather continued, “I released my book, the book made the New York Times bestseller list. I opened a second Beauty Lab location. It has been a transformative year for me. I want to venture out, I want to be brave, I want to, like, you know, start a new life. So I bought a new house.”
And, as you can see in the clip above, the home will undoubtedly be a very festive place to spend the holiday season.
The 7,900-square-foot house has seven bedrooms and six bathrooms, plus a beautiful living room with a fireplace and a handsome velvet couch. The living room is decorated with subtle pops of pink. The kitchen, which is outfitted with sleek white cabinets, leads to a dining area and another living space that also has a fireplace.
Heather’s new bedroom is nearly all white, though it does have a purple throw blanket. The interior design is markedly different from her former bedroom, which had a dark statement wall and pillows with a vibrant, leafy print. “We call it the magic room,” Heather says in the video above about her old bedroom. “The boom-boom room. This is just the love nest, where everything good in my life happens.”
