Week 4: Falling for Firemen
Stacie offers some sage advice, "If you are going to pass out anywhere, it should be in the presence of gorgeous, strong, fiery firemen."
This week is all about finding you inner warrior -- so it's really too bad that I'm such a peaceful person. Don't get me wrong, I'm a fighter, but I've never been a fighter with my weight. I just kind of accepted it -- I didn't like it, but all of my friends and business partners seemed convinced that this was the way I was supposed to be; it was part of my business and who I was as a performer and as a person. I am ready to leave that behind and embrace the unknown. I don't have a warrior name yet, but I'm sure it'll include something with sparkles…
Our challenge this week was the workout that fireman all over the country do when they train. Let me just say one thing about this challenge -- there is a good reason why I don't fight fire! We get put into full uniform and before the challenge even begins you can feel every part of your body burning. I underestimated the power that the heat would have. It got so hot in that suit that it was just to see straight. I will say that if you are going to pass out anywhere, it should be in the presence of gorgeous, strong, fiery firemen.
Jackie and Dr. Cohan have also decreased my caloric intake and upped my blood medication so I'm hoping that next week I'll start to see the results. The downside is that the side effects of the medication are making it really challenging to work out. I hope I get used to it soon and get back to kicking butt!
