Kelsey Barnard Clark's Gorgeous Alabama Home Is Full of Vintage Charm: See Inside
The season 16 Top Chef winner's Dothan, Alabama house is filled with antiques and family mementos.
Even as Kelsey Barnard Clark continues to design and decorate the Dothan, Alabama home she shares with her husband and son, keeping what she calls the property's "antique, classic feel" is a priority for the season 16 Bravo's Top Chef winner.
"I frequently get asked how I start designing a space," she wrote in a February 19 Instagram post. "Rules I go by: 1- I don’t buy just for the sake of filling a space 2- I don’t buy random art ; I collect keepsakes from trips, use family momentos [sic] or commission something meaningful 3- It doesn’t go on the wall if it isn’t personal or have a hidden meaning."

A Colorful Kitchen Corner
On Tuesday, March 10, Kelsey shared a photo on her Instagram Story showcasing a bright, white area next to her kitchen sink. "This happy little corner makes doing the dishes much more enjoyable," she wrote alongside a photo featuring two matching white flower pots holding different types of vibrant flowers. Next to the flowers are what appear to be two moss bunnies in different sizes, one standing on its hind legs and the other crouched on all fours.
A Preserved Bathroom
"Finally gave our little pink upstairs bathroom some much needed TLC. We also have a teal powder room downstairs and often get asked why we don’t reglaze them. I love the stories these old homes tell and love preserving and protecting them even more," Kelsey wrote on Instagram of the bathroom. "I found these vintage colonial cafe curtains on Etsy that were busy yet subtle and made them my focus."
Multi-Purpose Kitchen
Kelsey shared a sweet snap of Monroe curled up on a counter-side wood chair while resting his head on the kitchen's sleek white counter. "Said he wasn’t tired and just needed a snack," Kelsey wrote on Instagram in February. "Same, same Monroe.
Vibrant Living Room
"Had to grab this little ginger jar while antique shopping today," Kelsey wrote of the latest addition to her colorful living area. "The pattern immediately caught my eye but it was the ’Made in Macau’ sticker that really sealed the deal. I feel like I was kinda made in Macau too."
