Tom Colicchio Reveals Single Worst Dish He's Ever Eaten on Top Chef
The Bravo's Top Chef judge recalls hiding behind a cactus to spit this dish out.
There are perks to being a Bravo's Top Chef judge. Chief among those perks: Tasting scrumptious, inventive dishes from rising-star chefs. That's not to say that every dish is a winner, however.
Appearing on the March 19 episode of Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen, Tom Colicchio got real about a fishy bite that left a particularly bad taste in his mouth.
When answering questions from the "Shady Sharp Knife" (see the clip above), Tom revealed the single worst dish a cheftestant has whipped up over the past 17 seasons.
"I was in a desert in Las Vegas. I forget [the chefestant's] name now," he said. That's probably a good thing. Because next, Tom called that chef out in a major way.
"He made this cod ceviche in the summer that was like 90 degrees and it was horrible and I spit it out immediately," Tom said. "I tried to hide behind a cactus, and I just spit it out."
